The Art of Strategy
Strategic Advisory for Founders and Investors
Most people at a real inflection point do not need another specialist. They have lawyers, CPAs, and financial advisors. What they need is someone who sits above all of it, sees how the pieces connect, and tells them what move to make.
That is the role I play. Not a consultant who delivers a report. The person you call before you make the decision.
The circle is small. That is not a positioning choice. That is how the work functions.
Who I Work With
My clients fall into three categories. Each is at a different stage but facing the same underlying problem: the structure they have does not match the outcome they are after.
Founders scaling or restructuring - You have built something real. The original structure made sense at the time. It does not anymore. The decisions in front of you are consequential and most of your advisors are only seeing their corner of the picture.
Investors and family office principals - You are allocating capital across multiple vehicles and need someone whose only job is to make sure the strategy is coherent across all of them.
High-income W-2 earners - You earn well but own nothing that works for you. No entity. No depreciation. No capital at work. Just income in and taxes out. The structure you are missing is not complicated. It is just something no one has walked you through with your actual numbers in front of them.
What This Actually Looks Like
The pattern is consistent across most engagements. The problem on the surface is rarely the real problem. It is usually a structural issue that has been compounding quietly.
I assess the full picture and coordinate across your existing advisors to make sure the strategy is coherent end to end. Your CPA handles tax. Your attorney handles legal. I make sure neither one is working against what you are actually trying to build.
In practice the work spans:
Business and Growth Strategy - Where you are going, what is in the way, and what sequence of moves gets you there with the least friction and the most leverage.
Capital and Financial Structure - How your business is capitalized, how cash moves through it, and whether the structure reflects your actual goals or just the default you started with.
Tax and Entity Architecture - Working alongside your CPA to make sure your structure is doing real work. For W-2 earners this often means building a business entity for the first time and understanding exactly what that unlocks.
Operational Architecture - The systems, processes, and decision frameworks that either compound your advantage or quietly drain it. Most people do not see the cost until it is significant.
Advisor Coordination - I am not your attorney or your CPA. But I know the right questions to ask, I know when you need better than who you have, and I make sure nothing falls through the gap between disciplines.
Investment and Capital Allocation - When relevant to the strategy, I bring my own capital framework to the conversation. If my fund fits your risk profile I will say so. If it does not, I will say that too.
Background
I built a consumer business from zero to two million dollars with a team of four. Before that, ten years in Naval Special Operations. Then an MBA in finance and the CSO and CFO role for a B2B operation.
The pattern across all of it is the same. Assess the structure. Identify where the leverage actually is. Make the move with conviction and manage the outcome from there.
That is what I bring to every engagement.
How I Work
Every engagement starts with an honest conversation about where you are and what you are trying to build. From there:
Assess - A direct audit of your structure, capital position, and the decisions currently in front of you.
Coordinate - I engage your existing advisors, close the gaps, and make sure everyone is pointed in the same direction.
Execute - I stay involved through the work. Strategy without follow-through is just a document.
Advisory Tiers
Strategic Audit - $1,500
A single focused session covering your structure, capital position, and where the real friction lives. For W-2 earners this is often the conversation that reframes everything. You leave with a 10-page blueprint of your highest-leverage next steps.
Tactical Partnership - $3,000 to $5,000 per month
Fwo private sessions per month with ongoing access between them. For founders and investors who need a senior strategic voice embedded in their decision-making on a sustained basis. I coordinate across your advisors, pressure-test the moves, and stay accountable to the outcome alongside you.
Principal Advisory - By Arrangement
For those who want this relationship at the highest level of integration. Structured around equity or a private retainer depending on the engagement. I become part of your decision architecture for the long term. By invitation only.
For High-Income W-2 Earners
A W-2 income is a starting point, not a destination.
Most high earners are structured entirely in the government's favor. The fix is not complicated. It is specific to your numbers, your situation, and what you are trying to build. That is the conversation I have with people in this position.
Why a business structure makes sense. How to build it correctly from the start. How to begin deploying capital in a way that builds sovereignty rather than just a larger tax bill.
If that is where you are, the Strategic Audit is where we begin.
